Meet the Band ~ Trilogy

Kevin Viilo
  • Trilogy Keyboardist
  • Vocals

Kevin Viilo is the founding member of Trilogy which made its start in 1978. He plays many rolls as leader, keyboardist, bass keys and vocalist for Trilogy. Kevin is also the Entertainment Director for the Gilmore collection.
His classical training was obtained right here at Grand Rapids very own GRCC (JC).
Currently Kevin can be found playing 4-5 nights a week with either Trilogy or as the host dueling piano player at the Kirby in Grand Haven or at the B.O.B in Grand Rapids. His ability to play a wide array of music helps Kevin fit into almost any musical situation. Thus, he can be found performing with any mix of players as duets or with trios etc.; including the trio Ev, Kev & The Girl comprised of Everett Domeier, and Racquel Viilo (also of Trilogy). Racquel Viilo
  • Trilogy Vocalist
  • Auxiliary Percussion

Racquel’s musical and performance training can only be chalked up to a few successful years of high school symphony, musicals and the inevitable garage band. However, after a few performances at the coaxing of Trilogy’s drummer, Ken Jansen, it was deemed a fit.
Racquel has been gigging 8 years, side by side with husband Kevin as lead female vocalist for Trilogy. More recently Racquel branched out her gigs and in addition to her Trilogy and Ev, Kev & The Girl shows, she performs as a duo with Everett Domeier or Pete Bardolph (former Trilogy guitarist and member of “The Lazy Blue Tunas).

Everett Domeier
  • Trilogy Guitarist
  • Vocals
  • Sub-percussionist
  • Funny man

Everett grew up in a family of performing musicians. Drummer mom and guitar player dad coaxed him to perform at the early age of 5 years old. Locally you may have seen him perform with The Hype or as E-Rock with local comedy musicians The Bimini Brothers. Because of his versatility and experience Everett has played with many successful local and national bands as guitar player or drummer with vocals and — always with antics. His comedic presence works very well with Trilogy’s ability to connect with the crowd.

Ken Jansen
  • Trilogy Percussionist
  • Trilogy Manager

Ken got his musical start playing in a jazz band. Although he did and still does enjoy playing and listening to jazz, his real passion was to play in a rock band. Ken started the rock band Cinema in 1985. Cinema had some regional success winning a couple of song contests and gaining the interest of some national record companies. Even though Ken gained the interest from coast to coast, his main interest was playing with the band Trilogy.
In addition to Ken’s drumming skills, his experience as VP at an independent insurance agency, VML Insurance Agency, makes him a rockin’ drummer/band manager.
